I'm finding your MACD and your 3x3 DMA very useful daytrading stock indexes.

Thank you.

I'm consistently taking nice profits in xxx trading now due to your astounding research. A sincere thank you for sharing your knowledge through your Dinapoli Levels book, I really mean it.

Joe,

I received your book last Friday and finished on Monday. I think you've done a great job in writing the book, as well as a great service to countless traders..... I will definitely be reading it many more times and always keep it handy for quick reference. Thanks for taking the time to write it and sharing your techniques.

Have so many examples of OP and "K" being hit and HOLDING on the downside..
it is almost spooky.

If anyone ever doubts this Fibbo xxxx in the future, they are absolutely brain dead.

Hi Joe,

Although I bought your course some time ago I am only now studying it. And, I must say it has turned my trading upside down. I am re-thinking the way I trade. I applied your technique on the daily Spot EUR/USD(I only trade currencies) last week on the double repo of the 3x3 and sold the 5 min all the way down. Hopefully I will make one of your seminars in the future.

Best Regards

Mark McRae

Neal,

I couldn't possibly list all the valuable tools and techniques I've learned in one year so please suffice to say that I'm "ready for bear--or bull". Thanks to you and Joe for sharing your knowledge and time. D- Levels provide the best methodology for trading, period! I wouldn't consider attempting to trade this summer stock market without them. And with them I've had a very good handle on Direction, proper entry and sensible exit points. Please put these comments on the site if you wish.....because they're TRUE.

Thanks again,
Rob

Hi Neal,

I'd like to give you a little feedback regarding trading stocks as a way to get the methods down. IT WORKS. I'm learning to do things patiently and properly. It's a great way to practice for the big time. So keep advising your students to use this training approach because it will give them a chance to make it.

Thanks as always,
R. M.

Thought you might want to see my first real trade after your class.

I'm not suffering from illusions that it will all be this good from now on. However, the things I learned made me a much calmer, self-assured trader in this transaction. I felt like a real pro for the first time, really.

Best regards,
R. L.

Subject: The Tapes

Hi Joe,
In my trading mind (and words), there's "the book" and "the tapes". All other educational materials I have pale in comparison.

I'm currently in the midst of another re-study of "the Tapes" and I'm getting the world of good out of it. Next, i'll hit "the book" again.

Workin' hard,
Rob

Neal,

Many thanks for a great weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the training (alongside such nice gang too).

The seminar is extremely good value and I'm looking forward to typing up my notes over the next couple of days.
In the meantime, I've managed to get both FibNodes and LPOs onto my Txxxxxxxxxxx charts.

Regards,

Guy

Neal,

I'm excited. The seminar provided just the connections between isolated
pieces of knowledge that I was yearning for.

It was also great to interact with the others and find out that regardless
of skill or how long you've been at it, there are some challenges that are
the same for the old hands as well as for beginners like myself.

It's even more incentive for me to find a good
steady, profitable trading groove.

Thanks for the help.

Neal,

Enjoyed the workshop. The primary benefits for me were: re-affirmed the
power of the tools; and, their proper application. By no means least is the
encouragement from simply working with like-minded people.

Hi Neal,

I really appreciate your patience and generosity. You are an excellent teacher.

I will be dropping everything and paper-trading the "Bread and Butter" as indicated in DiNapoli's book.

It was truly enlightening talking to you. You gave me good perspective on trading, also on life.
Your definition of success opened my mind... "Being successful is not needing to trade every day." I liked that. :)

Talk soon,
C. C. L.

Hi Joe,

I used one of your trade signals yesterday on Eur/Usd. ie "the 3x3 double repo failure "on my crazy 225 min chart. It came off a treat. I recommended this on the Gxxxxx-Vxxx forex forum, and since then I've had a few enquiries about this methodology. I pointed them in your direction so expect an influx of requests for "DiNapoli Levels" through Coast Investment or the Gxxxxx-Vxxx bookstore. I hope you don't mind as you prefer not to have too much exposure and I wished too help other traders like myself. On thier forum I use the name "Derry N.I. stealth" if you want to have a look.

Regards,
D.F.

 Date: 08/21/2001

Mr. Joe DiNapoli,

I purchased your book, "Trading with DiNapoli Levels", sometime last year and I finally got to study it. While I am truly enjoying and learning a lot of unique ideas from it, I came across number of numerical mistakes. I am certain you are aware of it, that in Chapter 12 "Tying it together" every single calculation of FibNodes, COP and XOP expansion points are wrong. On
chart 12-3 given the F point as 11411 and the 0.382 retracement as 11421, the reaction point should be 11437, which is approximately where the top of the gap is. So is incorrect the COP OP and XOP in reference to Chart 11-17.
Possibly there are other similar mistakes in the book.

Would it be possible to receive from you a complete list of corrections you have made to the 1998 edition?

Thank you in advance,
B. H.

From: Trader Jo

Hi B.,

We have corrected a few Typos but there has never been a case where calculations were known to be incorrect. You would not believe the number of edits prior to release!

I think the issue you raise has to do with calculations on bonds where the last 2 digits are in 32nds, since this is the way the instrument trades.

For fast user interaction in explosive and volatile markets the FibNodes software recognizes, calculates and displays bond and note instruments in 32nds. This is much better for the trader.

We're very glad you enjoyed the book!

Dear Neal!

What can I say to you for the help you've so generously given to me; other than, "Thank you very very much." In doing so, you have saved me hours of work.

Looking forward to meeting you one day soon and thanking you in person by byeing you a few drinks.

I just want to say that I am really enjoying this trading course. It is a lot to absorb by someone who is completely new to this game, but it all makes sense to me. Very well put together, and it is based on common sense. I am thoroughly convinced that I will become very successful trading [using] your methods. Thanks for a great product.

We will be doing more business in the future.

This is just a quick congratulations for what you've done in your excellent book.

Dear Sir/Madam

I've been successfully trading options part time for the last three year's. One month ago I purchased a book from your organization called Trading with DiNapoli Levels and have read it cover to cover twice (and plan to read it many more times). Could you please do me a big favor and pass onto Mr DiNapoli my thank's and congratulation's on writing such a good book. I've read a lot of book's on the topic of Technical Analysis and this is by far one of the best I've read so far. My long term goal is to trade my own account full time and with the teachings from this book. I can see that happening a lot sooner than I originally thought.

Once again thank you...

Hi Pat,

I have purchased a copy of Joe's book on Dinapoli Levels. I was so impressed that I also purchased a copy of FibNodes 5.0 for Windows and Coast Trading Package for Windows. Could you please send me a user id and password to try out the proprietary trader support & education area.

Thank you.

Jo - you were right all along - I listened and believed and respected your advice when I met you in San Francisco, I just thought it didn't apply to me, figured I would not be among the statistics !!

Now I'm getting back into trading, cautiously... like a man walking point behind the lines who has been down that ambush trail before. I have met the enemy and know that the enemy is me !

I look forward to getting back into this war they call Trading. I think I've learned a few things.

Thanks for your Help !!

Joe,

When I first started trading in 1999, I bought and read Trading with DiNapoli Levels, bought and used (to some extent) both versions of your software, and took your Fibonacci Money Management and Trend Analysis Trading Course. I'll spare you the details, but I got away from your strategies and methodologies early on without learning them well.

As luck would have it, I enjoyed some wonderful beginner's luck short term trading beans and making profits in other markets with a couple of good systems during 1999 and 2000. Like a typical beginner, though, I've never learned a strong discipline well enough to operate on my own. This year I started trying to develop and use my own strategies. The market has handed
me my ass.

After all this experience, I can see much more clearly the value of your technique. So, I am getting back to it. I am trading intraday now with a $50,000 account, using CQG. What would you suggest I do to get back up to speed with your stuff? I have now been humbled and feel mature enough as a trader to learn some of the things you taught but I didn't appreciate in
the beginning.

Thanks,
R. L.

I've studied Fibonacci for years, studied with Mxxxx and Pxxxxxxxx. You're years ahead of others. I searched and searched for the very things you're answering in DiNapoli Levels.

Humanitarian to provide this valuable material to the public.

Thank you so much.

If I read this book Years ago I may have said, "That's interesting and put it on the shelf."

Now I have some experience and you have answered so many questions I've had.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you have done.

Dear Pat:

I recently purchased "Trading With DiNapoli Levels" and attended Mr.
DiNapoli's workshop at the Trader's Library function two weeks ago in
Washington, DC. I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Dinapoli's presentation!

Hi Pat, I received the book and I'm very impressed: it has a nice cover and you start learning from the first page. No doubt, Mr Di Napoli is a great writer and also a good trader. Thanks a lot, I hope to start trading using Di Napoli advices before all the stocks stop falling (let's get short!!! lol)

Well, also as you can see the Spanish post service works fine. Yesterday in the evening I received the book (that is, at 12.00 PM in the US East Coast of July the 10th).

Thanks a lot again and don't doubt about writing an e-mail if you need anything anytime from Spain... Congratulations for the book to Mr. Di Napoli and for you as you're a great assistant.

Hi, Joe!

I bought your book "Trading with DiNapoli Levels" end of April, set it aside, and picked it up to read on vacation up at the summer house up north. The only dumb move was not reading it right away when I got it.

I just wanted to say thanks, because your book is excellent. Really excellent, actually.

You know those unbelievable calls you warn about? I believe in unbelievable calls. I'm not getting overconfident yet. Just today I calculated the LPOs on an ABC market swing and I'll be damned if we didn't hit the COP already, pause, and go on. My first Minesweeper. Calculated from a 60 min chart, entry using a 5-min and a 30-min pair. I used my own definition of Trend and Direction since I haven't figured out the Stochastic/MACD combo you use yet. I do use a MACD, but it may not be the one you recommend. However, the 3X3 DMA is VERY useful used in conjunction with my own definitions. Yep, I checked on
Direction and Trend in Monthly, Weekly, and Daily charts before I got to the 60 min chart. You warned me not to get lazy and I won't.

I've been applying Joe's techniques for several months now using 'liquid' stocks - mainly directionals on thrusting stocks. I'm using
stockcharts.com's customisable stockscreener to try and find adequately thrusting stocks.

I'm still papertrading following a statistically amazing run of small losses early on, but am now starting to consistently hit winning trades. I figured that if you can't 'make money' on paper trades there's little probability of being able to do so using the real thing.

Anyway - am finding this Board (client forums) hugely helpful - thanks Joe and your colleagues for all your comments and insights.

Good book on the subject; better than Pxxxxxxxx - 3x times the price, also.... a good book that covers most of the things that you'd need to know about Fib and trading techniques with it. Plus how to make a system, details about some of the usual indicators that you see on your average trading software.

A complete package since DiNapoli has it's own indicators for TS.....that you can use to implement some of his good ideas on trading. He also has his own forum of discussion for support. It improved my trading since most of the Fib patterns can show you low risk/high probability trades...

Dear Joe,

Just wanted to drop you a short and thank you for sharing your knowledge of trading. I have been using it for about a month now, after taking the course from Neal Hughes. I have to say even though I am just getting started, it has given me incredible insight into the movement of the markets within the parameters you have described in your book.

The contrast is of course what I knew from before, which is much the same as the general public, nothing!!! I have spent a lot of time and great deal of money up to this point trying to get knowledge of the market. Finally I am able to analyze a stocks movement, where it is coming from, where it is going to and why.

Thanks again,

M. S.
